Now that it is so much easier to accumulate massive amounts of points, and there was never any follow up on the promise to give a free premium membership once a year or so to someone having at least a billion points, why don't we just go back to the way things were? It seems silly now to have usable points and total points listed in our profiles. Why not just let all of our points be usable?
yeah. if you go through the list of zoners who they have obtained the first rank as per the points are many many.
so I guess there's no fun with this new points system. and after reaching the ceiling even if we get one point from the cl or anyone, that brings us down back to 7 or 8 ranks.
So I do prefer the old system.
but, will they accept our opinions?

I agree, as Becky said, as no free premiums were ever given, the usable points sistem seems unnecisary. The whole point, as I understood it, was so that the points would be reset every now and then, and premium draws would be made. if that is not going to happen, then i see no reason why the points shouldn't go back to the old sistem.
Totally agree with previous posters. And while you're at it, bring back the original hi lo rules.
i hear you on high low, there's now no point to the first card. i'd love to see the old points system back, or at least let premiums use all there points, we've worked to get them and there for we should have full access to what we've earnt
I agree that we should have the old points system back. Anyway, people can earn points just by logging in regularly or by playing the games, or if someone wants to give them points.
I agree with you guys. Personally, I was never in favor of the new points system, but of course I wasn't part of the staff at that time. I'll make sure this gets brought to the attention of the other staff. Can't promise anything beyond that, though. Smile.

I never got to see the old points system, but even from things I've seen on boards and my own deductions, i'd have to say that the new system needs to go, along with hi-lo's rules. I once played hi-lo on a friend's account back when it was at its original state, and I loved it. Now I never play it. I think if the rules went back to the way they used to be, it would be a llot more enjoyable. And regardless of the fact that premiums are premiums and standards are standards, i think that there needs to be some sort of compromise made. Maybe, 1000000 points maximum for standards and 100000000000 maximum for premiums. I always thought 10000 was a pretty insignificant number considering that some of the numbers in the ranks are so high that jaws can't even read them properly.
Yes, the old points system should come back. It's not that fun for us premiums anymore, and I don't like being told I'm to ritch to recieve interest. lol
I don't care aobut being too rich to receive interest. What I do care about is how High Low is set up, and I honestly don't like it. So, I completely agree with you guys on this--we should go back to the old points system.
I wasn't around when the "old" system was in place, but I think the "new" one sucks. So, yes, I agree with Becky and all the others in that having usable and total points is stupid and pointless.
along with many others, i wasn't around when the "old" system was in place. but unless the staff are actually going to hurry the hell up with this free premium thing, i'm going to have to agree with everyone else. the old points system would probably be better. though there are some problems i've noticed with points like not being able to win any if u have more than a certain amount like me! according to chris N, i'd "hit a limit" and i could no longer win points. so i now have to rely on people giving me points (which hardly anyone will). the only problem i can see with bringing the old system back is that premiums will have huge amounts of points and most standard members won't be able to catch up with them. now i'm not saying all premium members are selfish, but a lot of the premiums i've seen with loads of points won't give them to anyone else and certainly won't give them to standard members! also, i think they should get rid of the 20 % tax when transferring points to a standard member. otherwise, standard members probably won't have a hope in hell of getting in to the top 100 or top 50.
regarding hi-lo and keno. i think these games should be returned to how they were.

I was around for the old point system and got to see some of how it worked. And the new point system just sucks! Just my opinion.
I have millions more total points than usable points. It seems stupid and unfair for me not to be able to use them.

The most annoying thing with this new fuckin point system is that now it takes two turns to win. Before it was a lot easier to win other than your chance of luck which varies depending who you ask. Since people say it's fixed. Also I guess with this new system and being able to bet as much as you want, I guess there's a catch. So they make it yet harder for you to stack up with the two chances you take each time. I'd rather the older way. I had no problems with that. I could get mad points whenever wherever. Besides the fact that as it's been pointed out, what the fuck good are they for besides giving them to other people who don't have as much? I wish I could trade them in for some cash. Now we're talking. However, I guess that would be at least confederate money if not monopoly money. Probably works out to the same anyway.
i disagreed with the new system from the start, still don't get why everyone wanted to go to it. i don't even play games anymore, just don't see the point. no pun intended there.

I agree we should go back to the old point system and just forget about point reset. now as far as high-low, i think it should go back to the way it was, but premiums should still be able to bet max points. However, they can remove the tax for standard members that way it's a little fair, but there's still a good reason for them to buy premium. Anyway, it's just 25 dollars, and you're helping to support the site, so it's not like you're paying $50 for premium anyway! And it's fun the way it is now, I just think the point system should be all usable, and high-low could be back to normal, with the point limit for max points you can have still the same. Basically just returning to the old point system and the old high-low, but the new betting rules still apply. That's my opinion.
Two things:
1. As for the new points system, I totally agree with all of the above posts. I say, either bring back the old system or actually make the new points usable like they were supposed to be.
2. As for Hi-Lo and Keno, I think that could be a separate topic altogether.
